Over the past few days, Bidsync email notifications may have been affected by Spamhaus, a third-party email filtering service. Organizations that use Spamhaus for their anti-spam services may have experienced delays or have not received all their bid notifications. BidSync sends over 1,000,000 emails every week to customers. Although we closely follow the requirements identified in the CAN-SPAM Act, email is sometimes misclassified; which is the reason Spamhaus has flagged our account. We are actively working with Spamhaus to make sure we are not on their blocklist (“SBL”) and plan to resolve this matter quickly.
Please note that BidSync uses your email address to:
- Confirm your registration to BidSync Links or BidSync Links Plus bid notification service
- Notify you when relevant bids match your profile
- Updated you about news and promotions relevant to your account
- Respond to customer support issues
Be assured that this has not affected your online access to BidSync. At any time you can log on to your account and view government, higher education and public entity bids posted either by our 1,000+ agency customers or found by our proprietary software and professional research team.
Another way to help ensure that you receive important communication from BidSync is to make sure “bidsync.com” is listed in your email “safe list”. If you would like to change your email preferences or opt-out of future email communication from BidSync you can visit our subscription center.
