February Announcement

We have released the latest update to our BidSync eProcurement™ suite of solutions. This release contained refinements to the Vendor Management tools that we delivered to our public sector customers in January 2014.

The new functionality now available to BidSync Source™ users includes:

  • Enhanced vendor search capability. Agency users can now use the Advanced Search feature of the Search Vendors tool to query standard data elements that are part of the Vendor Business Profile, such as insurance, company size, W9 info, etc. This allows agencies to easily identify vendors who possess the specified criteria.
  • Grouped Qualification search results. The Search Vendors tool will now display qualification groups nested underneath the specified group name heading, allowing fast searches and simple results analysis.
  • Categorization by NAICS commodity codes. BidSync Source now supports the NAICS commodity codeset. Vendors can categorize their products and services using the NACIS codes, and agencies can notify appropriate NAICS-categorized vendors within the BidSync network.
  • Rich text Certification and Qualification descriptions. The text boxes in the Vendor Management portal that contain certification and qualification descriptions have been enhanced to include a rich text editor, allowing agencies to better communicate with vendors.
